My Education

To become an RMT I completed comprehensive studies in human anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology and neurology alongside extensive training in manual skills, hydrotherapy, orthopedic assessment and treatment and exercise prescription. I graduated with honours on the Deans List from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and passed the rigorous examination process to gain RMT certification in British Columbia. I learn new knowledge prodigiously and am always furthering my understanding and skill set, and learn much from my clients and the many courses, lectures, webinars, books and current research that I explore.

Some of the most recent courses I have learned from:

Anatomy Trains: Head, Neck and Jaw
Fascial treatment strategies for restricted head and neck movements and TMJ dysfunction
Postural Restoration Institute: Cervical Revolution
Detailed assessments and corrections for restoring normal neck-on-body and head-on-neck postures and movements
Anatomy Trains: Shoulders and Arms
Fascial treatment strategies for shoulder, elbow and forearm restrictions
Postural Restoration Institute: Impingement and Instability
Understanding and treatment of compression (impingement) and decompression (instability) injuries and pain as they relate to right-biased human asymmetry
Postural Restoration Institute: Pelvis Restoration
Complex assessment and understanding of pelvis biomechanics, and corrective exercises and techniques to restore alternating reciprocal motion
Anatomy Trains: Tensegrity Spine
In-depth assessment and correction for the fascial anatomy of the lumbar and thoracic spines
Postural Restoration Institute: Postural Respiration
