My Education
To become an RMT I completed comprehensive studies in human anatomy, physiology, pathology, kinesiology and neurology alongside extensive training in manual skills, hydrotherapy, orthopedic assessment and treatment and exercise prescription. I graduated with honours on the Deans List from Vancouver College of Massage Therapy and passed the rigorous examination process to gain RMT certification in British Columbia. I learn new knowledge prodigiously and am always furthering my understanding and skill set, and learn much from my clients and the many courses, lectures, webinars, books and current research that I explore.
Some of the most recent courses I have learned from:
- Anatomy Trains: Head, Neck and Jaw
- Fascial treatment strategies for restricted head and neck movements and TMJ dysfunction
- Postural Restoration Institute: Cervical Revolution
- Detailed assessments and corrections for restoring normal neck-on-body and head-on-neck postures and movements
- Anatomy Trains: Shoulders and Arms
- Fascial treatment strategies for shoulder, elbow and forearm restrictions
- Postural Restoration Institute: Impingement and Instability
